How it works

From a first call to people in your systems, in about two weeks.

Two tracks, depending on whether you are handing over a function or filling a seat. The recruiting, the employment setup, and the hypercare are the same in both.

Track one, when we run the function

You interview the delivery lead. They build the team behind them.

01
Scope
We map the process, the volumes, the systems, and the close calendar you have to hit, then come back with a team shape, a scorecard, and a fee.
1 call
02
Your delivery lead
You interview them and you have the final say. This is the person you speak to every day, so the fit matters more than any other hire in the engagement.
week 1
03
Team build
The delivery lead staffs the pod against the scope, using the same screening as our staffing track. You can sit in on any of it, but you do not have to.
weeks 1 to 3
04
Knowledge transfer
A month running alongside whoever does the work today, learning the process exactly as it is rather than as the documentation claims it is.
month 1
05
Stabilise
We take the process over and run it against the scorecard we agreed, until the output stops surprising anyone on either side.
months 2 to 3
06
Automate
Discovery, SOP, build, re-stabilise, then start on the next process down the list. How that works.
ongoing
Track two, when you staff a seat

You screen every candidate and you have the final say. Always.

01
Intake
Send us the JD. If you do not have one, a 30-minute call is enough.
30 min
02
Source
Job fairs, ads, referrals, and the standing finance bench we keep whether or not you are hiring.
days 1 to 4
03
Screen
Three rounds, including our AI interview round. Finance-specific case work on the standards you report under, US GAAP or IFRS, not trivia.
days 3 to 8
04
Endorse
A short list with a written assessment, a short audio intro, and a résumé for each, with verified qualifications and standards experience.
day 8
05
Your interview
Scheduled within 24 hours of endorsement. You have final say. Always.
within 24 hrs
06
Start
We contract, ship the laptop, and set up access with you. Most start in 48 hours.
~48 hrs

And then we do not disappear.

Check-ins with you and your hire in weeks one and two, then every four weeks for as long as they are with you. We call it hypercare. The first month is when a placement quietly fails, and a check-in is cheaper than a replacement for both of us.

When it does not work.

Sometimes a candidate just doesn't work out for a variety of reasons. This is why we offer a zero-dollar replacement. We will re-calibrate and get you a better suited candidate immediately. Remember, you always have the last-mile interview.

What we measure

Transactional accounting has real numbers. So we agree them first.

This is the part of accounting where output is countable, which means performance is not a matter of opinion. Every engagement opens with a scorecard: what we measure, what good looks like against your current baseline, and how often you see it. Targets are set in the statement of work before anyone starts, not picked off a marketing page.

Processing accuracy

Error rate across entries, matches, and cash applications. Sampled, logged, and reported, not asserted.

Cycle time

Invoice to posting. Order to invoice. Query to resolution. The clock everyone feels but nobody tracks.

Close day

The day the books are actually ready, tracked against the calendar you published, every single month.

DSO and aging

Days sales outstanding, and exactly what is sitting past sixty days with a name against it.

First-pass rate

The share of invoices that clear without a human touching them. This is the number automation moves.

Reporting cadence

A weekly operating review and a monthly scorecard. You are looking at the same numbers we are.

Access and controls

You own the perimeter. We staff the people inside it.

This is the objection every finance leader raises, and it should be. Here is the actual answer, which is written into our MSA rather than into a marketing page.

Access provisioning and revocation
You. Always.
Systems and permissions
Yours to designate. No independent admin rights.
Control environment
Yours. We execute inside it.
Payment release
We prepare to the last mile. You approve and release.
Who manages the team
In a managed function, our delivery lead. In a staffed seat, you.
Cyber liability
Professional liability
Background checks
Payroll
US GAAP experience
IFRS experience
Credentials verified per candidate
